Alvin (owner at skatetek.com) is a scammer. Check out his new site to scam more people www.electraskate.com. Avoid purchasing online and becoming a victim. He will talk very politly until you pay and the diappear out of nowhere and re- appear under new business names. Skatetek.com,electraskate.com and flytek.com all are owned by him. Stay alert and avoid interacting with him.

Alvin (the owner at Skatetek) is a very nice and professional guy to deal with. I purchased my first board from him in 2012. No problems...still have it and love it. Over the past cooler of years I've needed replacement parts like tires, inner tubes, a battery, etc and haven't had any issues buying and receiving even though sometimes it took a month to receive. Well...this past April while taking to him about buying some new tires he told me about his new board the skullator (?). I checked it out online and even though it was almost twice as much as my current board I had to have it. I bought it, paid for it with paypal, and well never received it. For the first 3 months he told me they were on back order and would ship in oct. When I hadn't received still @ Nov 20 I decided to call again. All numbers were turned off and his website closed down. I googled "Skatetek scam" and sure enough found at least a dozen of others that had paid for board that they never received. He's a very polite guy but def a scammer. He's doing drones now. His new company is Flytek Drones.

you've been warned, best take my advice, dude is a good liar. But he trips himself up, he has to memorize so much ***. He is super polite, but its a scam. its a great great scam though, site looks real, dude can fool u. if you read the reviews they all sound the same.. I bought a 1000 watt... i bought a 1500 watt... You will see some of this pics are chopped, these guys put a lot of time in making their site and the youtube videos, but these india guys operate out of a house, check out the google maps address.

I bought a board from them it was delivered but now I have some issues that should be covered by the promised warranty...... but now I connotations contact them,

Hi my name is John, I'm from queens,new york, i would just like to share my experience about skatetek inc, a year ago i bought a eagle 1500w electric skatetboard at skatetek,their product is absolutely great !! i didnt expect how smooth the ride is and how fast it can go,not only that their staff are one of most sincere and helpful people ive ever dealt with,their services are awesome, i wrote this review not to contradict but to let others know how reliable skatetek is.
ive convinced most of my buds to try purchasing their boards at skatetek and they too were very satisfied with the products and customer service. So to the bad reviewer, we already got an explanation from skatetek as to what happen .

I have purchased a board from Skatetek and also some parts and I have had no issues with them , they have a great customer service and I also called them about Mr Rays problem , they explained to me in detail that Ray wants free parts and they did ship parts to him , and he has not paid for them, Skatetek has proof of delivery and unpaid invoice from Ray. Its amazing that people wants things for nothing.
Ray McFarland my advice to you, pay your bills and stop complaining. I am have fun with my Skatetek electric skateboard.
Think Skatetek will not do such thing to their customers. just say'in.
hello, just to geed my comment or feedback this, coz you know i think Skatetek Inc wouldn't do such thing. I've been a very loyal customer of Skatetek for almost 3years already,since from their previous company and well,not only me and some of my closest friends to.
I am from asia and one of my friend is from Ecuador and other in the U.S. eversince we started purchasing our electric skateboard from skatetek, we didn't have any problem. the customer service was excellent so as their product. Maybe if your reason is acceptable they would entertain you,but reading the comment that you bought your skateboard 3years and wants a battery change for free, i guess that is not an accepyable reason.
i shared this comment of mine to also let the people/customers know that Skatetek is a very reliable/trusted seller of ELECTRIC SKATEBOARDS.
